অঙ্কনদার সঙ্গে প্রথম যেদিন দেখা হয়েছিল, তখনও মহামারী আমাদের মুখোশ পরায়নি। বাতাসে মৃত্যুর আতঙ্ক ছিল না। একসঙ্গে চা খেতে যাওয়া যেত দিব্বি। সেভাবেই চায়ে চুমুক দেওয়ার ফাঁকে কথায়-কথায় জানতে পেরেছিলাম একজন কীভাবে কবিতার কাছে হাত পেতে আছে, কীভাবে সরোদ তাকে আশ্রয় দেয়, কীভাবে মঞ্চ তাকে ডাকে। সামান্য কাজের সূত্রে আলাপ, কিন্তু সামান্য কাজে আর তা আটকে থাকল কই! আমরা অঢেল কেজো কথা বলেছি, কাজের দৃশ্যকল্পে সময় কাটিয়েছি এবং তারইমধ্যে জড়ো হতে-হতে গেছে অদ্ভুত সব মুহূর্ত। এক কাজ থেকে অন্য কাজ, পেশাদার হিসেব-নিকেশের বাইরে যখনই প্রয়োজন পড়েছে অঙ্কনদাকে ফোন করেছি। অকাতরে সাহায্য এসেছে ওইপ্রান্ত থেকে। ফেসবুক-ইউটিউবের খুঁটিনাটি বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে অঙ্কনদা। কাজের দুনিয়ায় কেউ নাকি বন্ধু নয়! কারা যে এমন বেফালতু কথা বানায়!
দেখতে-দেখতে চারবছর হয়ে গেল প্রায়। আমাদের গল্প ফুরোয়নি। আর কাজ? সে কি এত সহজে ফুরোয়?
